So what had he to say about debt?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>Neither a borrower nor a lender be;<\/em><br>\n<em>For loan oft loses both itself and friend,<\/em><br>\n<em>And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldebtrelief.co.uk\/debt-articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Fotolia_635156_S.jpg\" alt=\"Debt\" class=\"wp-image-1488\" width=\"362\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldebtrelief.co.uk\/debt-articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Fotolia_635156_S.jpg 849w, https:\/\/www.nationaldebtrelief.co.uk\/debt-articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Fotolia_635156_S-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nationaldebtrelief.co.uk\/debt-articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Fotolia_635156_S-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For those of us who dined at the table of plenty financed by easy \npersonal borrowing which we are now struggling and failing to repay, \nwhat can we say but&nbsp; \u2018I wish!\u2019 We had no Shakespeare to guide us in \navoiding the trap of our indebtedness or to assist us in dealing with \nthe inevitable consequences of our profligacy. How would Shakespeare \nadvise us now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I guess he would advise us to seek counsel in order to obtain advice \non financial solutions to our personal indebtedness and might well \nrecommend that we contact an Insolvency Practitioner. While we may not \nencounter another Shakespeare, we can learn that through an Individual \nVoluntary Arrangement (IVA) or other financial solution we can overcome \nfinancial adversity and, to quote Shakespeare again, find that <em>\u2018All\u2019s well that ends well\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What Shakespeare had to say about debt?
